The incident occurred when a man, an employee of a robotics company, was inspecting a robot.

The man was checking the robot’s sensors before testing it at a pepper grading plant in South Gyeongsang province, scheduled for November 8, the agency added, citing police.
The test was originally scheduled for November 6, but was delayed by two days due to problems with the robot’s sensor.
An employee at a company that made a robotic arm was checking the machine late Wednesday night when the glitch occurred.
Following the incident, a spokesman for the Tongoson Agricultural Export Complex, which owns the plant, called for an “accurate and safe” system.
In March, a South Korean man in his 50s was seriously injured after being caught by a robot while working at an auto parts factory.
