In particular, 1C Entertainment, the developer of programs and databases, began to reduce the staff of Russian studios working on King’s Bounty II and Soul Dance Party. According to Fedorov, some employees were offered to keep their positions, but this requires leaving Russia.

Swedish telecommunications company Tele2 AB will not renew the license of the Russian operator Tele2 for the brand after the expiration of the contract. It was stated that the contract stipulates cooperation until March 2023, but the company wants the license to be terminated earlier.

Also, programmers from Russia and Belarus will not be accepted into the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) global competition of programmers. Google has also removed the Russian Ministry of Defense and public procurement sites from its search results.
