At the Digital Ecosystem 2023 Mobile Satellite Industry Development Forum in China, Honor General Manager Li Kun announced significant advances in the satellite communication technology developed by the company. According to him, Honor’s solution successfully solved the three main technical problems of satellite communications: the size of the antenna, talk time and the overall communication experience.
This breakthrough is expected to offer consumers a seamless satellite experience thanks to the smallest antenna size, most stable signal and most efficient operation.
According to one industry expert Digital Chat StationHonor’s new satellite communication technology is expected to be integrated into the Honor Magic6 series smartphones, which are planned to be released before the Spring Festival. These devices will also feature Honor’s own low power consumption and heat dissipation technologies.
Separately, Honor CEO Zhao Ming announced plans to deepen the integration of Honor’s AI model with MagicOS.
Honor also recently announced LLM (Large Language Model) powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip on the device. This LLM includes photos, contacts, videos, etc. It offers users faster and more by processing all data stored on the device, including reliable results.
