Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid said in a daily report on the impact of the war between Israel and the Islamist group Hamas on civilians.

Situation Al Shifa Hospital has proven to be the most serious in recent days. because it is the main hospital center in Gaza and has recently been at the center of armed clashes causing damage following Israeli bombings.

The latest information received from this hospital shows that as of yesterday there were between 600 and 650 hospitalized patients, between 200 and 250 staff and 1,500 internally displaced persons, and 36 infants in incubators and patients requiring dialysis were at imminent risk of death.

The Israeli army ordered evacuation of hospitals in the north of the Strip, but the World Health Organization (WHO) said that this amounted to a death sentence for the collapse of the medical system as a whole and that hospitals in the south had absolutely no capacity – and still do not – to receive patients. .
