Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mexico (UN-DH) condemned That violent death of Osiel Baena, judge Electoral Court of the State of Aguascalientes.
On site X, formerly Twitter, the international organization called for an investigation and clarification of the magistrate’s death from a gender perspective.
“We condemn the violent death of #LeMagistrade and LGBTI+ rights defender Jesus Osiel Baena and call for due diligence in the investigation and clarification of the facts, with an adequate and broad understanding of the gender perspective.”
UN-DH emphasized that Jesus Osiel Baena Saucedo has played a prominent role in defending LGBTI+ rights.
“Discrimination, prejudice and violence against LGBTI+ and non-binary people has a heartbreaking impact on their lives,” he said.
“The dignity of every human person, with its inexhaustible light, reminds us of the importance of respect, tolerance and understanding of all differences. “Any display of prejudice is contrary to peace and the universal values of humanity.”
The Aguascalientes prosecutor’s office confirms that the death of judge Osiel Baena was the fault of his partner
Aguascalientes Attorney General Jesus Figueroa Ortega announced this on Tuesday. Aristegui Live that the death of Magistrate Jesus Osiel Baena Saucedo allegedly occurred after an argument with his partner Dorian Daniel “N”, who wanted to kill the activist and defender of LGBTIQ+ rights.
Prosecutors said fingerprints and evidence found at Osiel Baena’s home indicate the fight between two people began in a bedroom located on the top floor of the building.
“There is some confusion and we are seeing blood droplet trails moving,” he said.
The mechanics of events presented by Figueroa Ortega indicate that from the bedroom, Osiel and his partner would go down to the first floor of the house. There, Dorian Daniel allegedly ended the life of a magistrate by cutting his neck with a razor.

“Deep traces of blood were found in the lower part of the building, where it is believed that the magistrate was killed,” he explained.
According to the prosecutor of Aguascalientes, there are 19 cut wounds on the body of Jesus Osiel, and it was one of them that caused his death: the one located in the jugular vein.
Figueroa Ortega said footprints were found consistent with the size and shape of Dorian Daniel’s feet, which apparently show him going up and down the stairs before committing suicide.
Wrappings of knives believed to have been used in the murder-suicide were also found on the stairs, the prosecutor said.
Maigstrade constantly received threats
Finally, the prosecutor said that previously Judge Jesus Osiel Baena Saucedo had directly told him that he had received constant threats for his leadership and presence in the LGBTIQ+ community.
“They constantly gave him warnings, threats or insults,” he said.
Since Osiel Baena is part of sexual and gender diversity, the prosecutor explained that his case will be investigated taking into account the specific aspects and protocol of crimes against this community.
