Russian authorities are trying to force the American company Google to stop operating in the country and continue to fine it.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports this in a report.

The Russian government has already banned some Western social networks and demanded that Google remove “false information” about Russia’s war in Ukraine in early 2022.
“The Russian government is likely trying to force Russians to use search engines and other Internet services from Russian companies that the government can control better than international companies like Google,” the report said. The statement was included.
