The Tesla company specifically removed a stipulation from the Cybertruck’s sales contract that prohibited buyers from reselling the electric car within the first year of purchasing the car.

This was reported by CarBuzz, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Tesla specifically removed the resale clause in the Cybertruck sales contract, opening up the option for buyers to sell their car within one year of purchase,” the statement said.

Previously, the five-page agreement specifically for the sale of Cybertruck included a clause prohibiting the resale of the electric car within the first year after purchase.

The electric car’s sales contract states, “The signatory (the buyer of the Cybertruck) must agree that you will not sell the vehicle during the first year after the delivery date of your vehicle.” it said.

It was noted that if the buyer decides to sell the vehicle within the first year after purchasing it, the company may offer to take the vehicle back, depending on the situation.

The first Cybertruck deliveries are expected to take place starting November 30 this year.

As reported by Ukrinform, Tesla plans to start mass production of Cybertruck electric cars by the end of 2023.
