Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Book 4, its new line of notebooks for 2024 which will combine Intel Core 100 processors (Raptor Lake U, Meteor Lake U or H), Intel UHD or Arc graphics as well as dedicated NVIDIA graphics.

Samsung is the world’s leading manufacturer of mobile phones or televisions, but it also has a number of personal computers, which may be few, but are not without interest, due to their lightness, thinness, quality workmanship and balanced selection of components. The series will start with this entry-level model with a 15.6-inch screen and FHD resolution, with an Intel Core 5 120U processor, integrated Intel UHD graphics, 8 GB of LPDDR4x memory, a 512 GB SSD and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. With this configuration, its price is not expected to exceed $1000.

Galaxy Book 4 360

The convertible version of the previous model adds a 15.6-inch FHD multi-touch display and the versatility of its hinge, which allows for multiple modes of use, from laptop to tablet. Its processor is Intel Core 5 120U, 8 GB LPDDR5 memory, 256 GB SSD and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It would also cost around $1000.

Galaxy 4 Pro and 360

Samsung raises the bar compared to the base model with a 14-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a native resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. The processor further enhances the Intel Core 5 155U, integrated Arc graphics, 16 GB LPDDR5x memory, 512 GB SSD and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Its price will be around $1,449.

Galaxy 4 Pro 360

The convertible version increases the screen size to 16 inches, with a multi-touch AMOLED panel, a native resolution of 2880 x 1600 pixels and the versatility of the convertible format. The processor should be an Intel Core 5 155U, with 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory, a 512 GB SSD and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Its retail price would be $1,899.

Galaxy 4 Ultra

The top of the line Samsung’s new laptop lineup has some interesting specs, and it’s actually the first we’ve seen with an Intel Meteor Lake-U CPU and dedicated graphics card. It is equipped with a 16-inch AMOLED display, a touch panel and a native resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. Its CPU is a Core 9 185H and the dedicated graphics card is an RTX 4070. It should have 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB SSD with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. It would be priced at $2,399.

All models have a web camera, audio systems with Dolby Atmos, double or four AKG speakers, USB 3.2 ports, Thunderbolt 4, microSD card reader, fingerprint reader or HDMI output. With Windows 11 pre-installed, they should be available from the announcement of the Intel Meteor Lake processors we expect for December 14th.
