The US software company ServiceNow is expanding its generative AI portfolio with three new functions. All three new solutions are integrated into the ServiceNow platform.

Now Assist is a collection of generative AI solutions at ServiceNow, such as a proprietary coding tool. The American software company, which recently introduced the Vancouver version of its platform, regularly expands it and is now adding three new features.

Support now in the virtual agent

This should allow companies to build and deploy generative AI chats in under fifteen minutes. This is possible through improved configuration options.

Companies need to be able to reduce the number of referrals while resolving issues more quickly. A chat via generative AI is intended to improve self-service thanks to the necessary information about each customer. There is a question and answer session in it Knowledge management and AI can guide conversations to quickly order items or submit service requests.

Flow generation

This is intended to ensure accelerated development of workflows on the Now platform. Administrators and developers receive support in creating blueprints.

Text is transformed into low-code workflows, eliminating the need for developers to create automations from scratch. Once a workflow is complete, it can be continually adjusted and refined. This is done via an interface AppEngine.

Now Assist for Field Service Management (FSM)

This feature is intended to increase productivity through generative AI. The system can summarize work orders based on all of a customer’s activities, parts and ancillary data.

This is a useful update, especially for field service. You have to move frequently and work primarily with mobile devices.
