Cadillac, the luxury car brand owned by General Motors, introduced the new electric compact crossover 2025 Cadillac Optiq.
CNBC reports this, according to Ukrinform.
Cadillac said the car, which will be the brand’s fourth electric vehicle, will be priced below the current entry-level Lyriq midsize crossover, which starts at about $59,000.
At the same time, Cadillac refused to disclose pricing and other specifications for the 2025 Optiq, which is expected to go on sale in the United States early next year.
The car is expected to be sold in North America, China, Europe and potentially other markets.
“Cadillac is experiencing significant sales momentum thanks to our strong product portfolio, and we are now expanding our business globally,” said Cadillac Executive Vice President John Roth.
Cadillac’s first electric car was the Lyriq, its second was the Celestiq, which cost more than $300,000, and its third was the Escalade, which starts at around $130,000.
According to Ukrinform, Cadillac introduced its electric luxury car, the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq, last year.
