Last Friday, we told you that the official link to The Last of Us Part II Remastered had been leaked and that it was very likely that said game would be announced soon. We were not wrong, Sony not only presented it, but also provided all the key details about him, and the truth is, it looks good.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered will arrive exclusively on PS5 January 19, 2024. At the moment it will be exclusive to this console, meaning there is no word on a possible PC version, although it could be announced in the coming months. It hasn’t been ruled out, at least for now, so we have to wait and see what Sony does in this regard.

If we get carried away by what the company did with the first delivery, this is probably it in a period of approximately 6 months A PC version is eventually announced, although you should keep in mind that this is not confirmed and is pure speculation on my part. However, much of the professional press shares the same opinion.

Improvements to The Last of Us Part II remastered for PS5

This new version also includes other important changes such as “No return” mode., which focuses on survival and lets you play with different unlockable characters in different locations. The inclusion was also confirmed three levels that didn’t make it to the PS4 gamea free guitar mode, a new unlockable character and new weapon skins for Ellie and Abby.

Those who already have the game in its PS4 version will be able to upgrade to PS5 version for only 10 dollars-euros. If you don’t have this title, you’ll have to pay full price, which will be typical of a triple-A game on PS5, which brings us to the range 60-70 euros. Personally, I have the original PS4 and the 30FPS didn’t let me enjoy it really. If it comes out on PC I might give it a second chance.
