The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W is a new gaming monitor designed and equipped to offer “performance, immersion and ease of use for gamers of all profiles”as they advertise in their presentation.

Philips has a good collection of gaming monitors with its Evnia range, now expanded with a new model that stands out with a “Fast VA” panel. This is an improvement of VA panels, which, while maintaining the high speed of the panel, makes it possible to improve image quality, contrast and other parameters, achieve coverage in the DCI-P3 color range of 92% and certification for VESA DisplayHDR 400.

The panel is a curved model with a radius 1000 Rwhich offers 32-inch diagonal and high resolution QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels). Perhaps this is the most balanced configuration between size and resolution of the many configurations that current monitors allow.

For a specific gaming section, the Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W promises to achieve 240 Hz refresh rate and response time of 0.5 milliseconds. It supports AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro image synchronization technology, which should improve the gaming experience.

The manufacturer adds features such as EasySelect to improve access and manipulation of on-screen menus; LowBlue mode to reduce the emission of blue light or Flicker-Free technology to reduce eye fatigue. The ergonomic part is enhanced with a base that allows height, tilt and rotation adjustments.

It has the usual inputs, HDMI and Display Port, as well as a USB hub with upstream and downstream ports. The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W will be available later this month for £429, about 492 euros to change. This Evnia looks good, the size and the most balanced resolution for gaming, with a high refresh rate and reduced response time.
