CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will arrive in stores on December 5, a special edition that is set to restarting one of the most important games of the current generation, both on a technical and gameplay level, because it brings interesting concepts that ultimately managed to give it a truly unique touch.
I’m sure most of our readers will agree with the title of this news, which is that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is basically what the launch of this game was really supposed to be like at the time. I perfectly remember that when Cyberpunk 2077 hit the market, it caused a lot of controversy and a few disappointments. It’s true that it was far from perfect, but technically the PC version was impressive from the start mainly thanks to the ray tracing.
At the time, I published a special article on this topic, where I focused on the problem of the demand for pears from the elm, a nod to The “impossible” version of Cyberpunk 2077 released by CD Projekt RED for PS4 and Xbox One. It was good that we could reduce the game in this way to run on two systems that did not even meet the minimum requirements of the PC version, but the result was clearly a real disaster.

He came out of the equation with the old generation update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC, the implementation of route tracing and DLSS 3.5 took place. All of this made Cyberpunk 2077 a huge improvement and made it what it really should have been at the time of its release.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition includes original game in version 2.01, that is, with all the improvements it has received so far and also includes Phantom Liberty DLCwhich means it’s the perfect pack to enjoy the definitive experience this title has to offer, which in my humble opinion is a true masterpiece.
We don’t have details on the retail price of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition yet, but I imagine so It will be cheaper than buying the game and DLC separately. As I said at the beginning of the article, it will be available from December 5 on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. The previous generation consoles didn’t get the 2.0 update or the Phantom Liberty DLC, so they were obviously left without this edition.
