The German newspaper Bild claims that Germany has Marder armored vehicles that it can deliver to Ukraine, citing a classified document marked “for official use”. However, the Scholz government is blocking this decision.

According to the publication, the German Ministry of Defense has 32 Marder infantry fighting vehicles that are “no longer in use” and can be “repaired if necessary”. However, the government says it cannot transfer the equipment as it is used by the Bundeswehr.

It was also noted that the Federal Security Council blocked the transfer of 100 Marder vehicles ready to deliver Rheinmetall. The publication provides information that the first batch of 100 BMP can be repaired “within six weeks”.
