In December last year, Redmi introduced three models: Redmi K60e, Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. These devices are equipped with Dimensity 8200-Ultra, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. The K60 series will be replaced by three models: Redmi K70e, Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro. These devices will be equipped with Dimensity 8300-Ultra, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

All the features of the K70e are already known, but the details of the K70 and K70 Pro are still unclear. Redmi K70e has a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage, 5500 mAh rechargeable battery 90 W, 64 megapixels ( main, OIS) + 8 megapixel (ultrawide) + 2 megapixel (macro) triple camera, 16 megapixel front camera and plastic frame.

Redmi K70 and K70 Pro are expected to have OLED panels of the same size, 120 Hz frequency and support 2K higher resolution. Both models are expected to have a 50-megapixel OmniVision camera with OIS support, a metal frame and 120W fast charging support. The K70 may have a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro version may have a 5,120mAh battery. The entire line will run on Android 14 and HyperOS.

It seems unlikely that the Redmi K70 series will enter the global market. Instead, some of these devices may be rebranded as Poco F6 series models in the global market. Expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2024, the F6 and F6 Pro are likely to be rebranded versions of the K70e and K70 respectively.
