Bandai Namco has updated the requirements for Tekken 8 on Steam, a game that uses the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine and this represents an important generational leap compared to Tekken 7, which was built under Unreal Engine 4. As you may have imagined, this means that it will offer a much higher graphics quality and that it will only come to current generation consoles and PC. . There won’t be a PS4 and Xbox One version.

The truth is that despite this change in the graphics engine, the requirements of Tekken 8 they are not too highwhich is ultimately understandable since it’s a closed-scenario action game where there aren’t a lot of complex and changing elements that would happen in, say, a sandbox-type title.

Tekken 8 Minimum Requirements

• Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
• Intel Core i5-6600K or Ryzen 5 1600 processor. There is an equivalence error, Ryzen 3 2300X would be correct because the game requires 4 cores and 4 threads.
• 8 GB of RAM.
• GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon R9 380X graphics card.
• 100 GB free space.

With the default configuration, this hardware would be enough Relatively stable 60 FPS in 1080p with low qualityat least in theory.

Tekken 8 Recommended Requirements

• Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
• Intel Core i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 2600 processor. There is also an equivalency error, Ryzen 5 2500X would be correct since the game requires 4 cores and 8 threads.
• 16 GB of RAM.
• GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card.
• 100 GB free space.

In this case you should be able to play 1080p with high quality at 60 FPS completely stable.

Along with the lists of requirements, it has been hinted that they are subject to change, so while they are theoretically final, there may still be slight variations. I don’t think that will happen considering how advanced the game is. and how close its launch is, but we can’t completely rule it out.

Tekken 8 will be released in January 2024 and as I said it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X-Series S and PC. Will not use Denuvosomething that is appreciated and confirms that the developers have learned from the problems they had with the said protection system in Tekken 7.
