Nubia has introduced the RedMagic 9 series, mobile phones with spectacular specifications that start with Qualcomm’s new flagship, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by a stratospheric amount of memory and storage: 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of the latest UFS 4.0 Standard

The ZTE subsidiary has been launching a specific series for mobile gaming (RedMagic) for some time now. And each of the models it launched was more and more impressive, with the latest components in the industry finding the best raw performance.

Qualcomm has promised a new SoC CPU that is 30% faster than the previous generation; a 25% faster GPU and a neural processing unit that doubles performance, and that’s exactly what Nubia wants to achieve with a high-performance lineup that will serve in two versions, standard and Pro.

To guarantee this performance, temperatures must be controlled and the manufacturer has installed a special cooling system that improves its Turbo Cooling Engine technology with liquid cooling plate, graphene under the screen and a fan that can spin up to 22,000 rpm. Nubia will launch special versions with a back cover made of transparent materials to display the fan’s RGB lighting.

The screen remains from the previous version. Yippee 6.8-inch touchscreen AMOLED diagonal with FHD+ resolution (2480 x 1116 pixels), with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an average digitizer sampling rate of 960 Hz.

Nubia RedMagic 9, version and prices

Nubia sells the series in two versions. Both measure the same, 164 x 76 x 9 mm and weigh 229 grams. They have a USB 3.2 Type-C port, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack and three microphones. Regarding versions:

• The RedMagic 9 Pro comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations. It contains a 5500 mAh battery and an 80W fast charging charger. Its official price will be 4399 yuan (about $620).
• The RedMagic 9 Pro+ comes in 16 or 24GB RAM configurations with UFS 4.0 storage that can hit the Tbyte barrier. It contains a 6500 mAh battery and a 165W fast charging charger. Its official price will be 5499 yuan (about $845).

The new RedMagic can now be reserved in China and will soon be available internationally, with a global launch expected in December and worldwide deliveries starting in January.
