Chinese drone company Changchun Changguang Boxiang UAV has developed a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle with two pairs of fixed wings and multiple propellers, capable of vertical takeoff and landing.
This was reported by Xinhua, according to Ukrinform’s report.
Capable of rapid vertical take-off and landing, the drone increases wind and freezing resistance and thus can climb up to a height of 5.5 km.
The new unmanned aerial vehicle is small in size, light in weight and easy to assemble. Flight duration is up to 12 hours.
It is said that it can be used in many scenarios such as emergency and rescue operations, industrial infrastructure inspection, survey and mapping.
Most current models of unmanned aerial vehicles are launched using catapults.
As reported by Ukrinform, Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU) has developed a ground-based, remote-controlled Escadron platform that can be used to transport ammunition to the front line and evacuate casualties from the battlefield.
