As reported, this time the agency checked the drones of six Ukrainian manufacturers. Most are FPV drones designed and manufactured by private companies.
The purpose of the tests was to check the operation of drones under the influence of radiation from the radio-electronic warfare (EW) complex, resistance to suppression of the video communication signal and control channel.

“For most manufacturers, this test was a good opportunity to see the weak points of their designs and focus on improving future submitted projects from an anti-EW perspective,” the ministry said.
So, one of the manufacturers demonstrated the serial development of the kamikaze drone. As stated in the Ministry of Defense, this sample demonstrated the stability of video communication channels and control of the drone in confrontation with the EW complex.
According to the representative of the manufacturing company, this model has already proven itself in combat conditions and has “fairly stable” indicators in confronting the enemy’s electronic warfare means.
If further tests are successful and this unmanned aerial vehicle complex is put into operation, the company is ready to increase its production.
“The project started about a year ago, but we have now reached a demonstrable level. This drone is capable of performing combat missions at a distance of up to ten kilometers. The technologies used to develop this model are not innovative or unique, they are a compilation of our know-how, the successful experience of previous products It’s a combination,” said a company representative.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that similar tests of new models of unmanned aerial vehicle complexes are regularly held.
According to the agency, the number of enterprises working on the creation of modern Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles on their own initiative has already reached several hundred. It is this type of weapon that is in especially high demand in the army today.
According to Ukrinform’s news, as of the beginning of September, 30 Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicle models of various types were accepted for operation.
