Samsung introduced its display technologies at the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS Grand Prix held in Las Vegas and did so with great success.
So Samsung installed a huge LED screen in the shape of the Formula 1 logo on the roof of the pitlane building. It is a 10mm LED display with over 22 million pixels, with an area of 8,584 square meters. This is the world’s first 146-metre screen in the shape of the Formula 1 logo; It is longer than a football field. Samsung says the screen is bright enough to be seen from space.
In addition, 3 LED screens with an area of 288 square meters and a resolution of over 1.2 million pixels were placed on the stands. Spectators were able to watch the races so as not to miss a single moment.
The F1 logo on the roof, the 3 screens in the stands and the displays on the escalators cover a total area of more than 9,753 square meters. Their length is enough to go around the Las Vegas circuit 2.5 times.
