Connection
All Intel processors have integrated graphics capabilities designed to make video transcoding easier. 2.5 GbE is the standard for the devices, but if you want you can also install 10 GbE via the PCIe 4.0 slots. Given the focus on multimedia, this can be an absolute added value in a professional environment. We actually wonder why Qnap doesn’t include 10GbE as standard, at least on the most powerful model.
Qnap has its own convenient operating system and an extensive ecosystem designed to make the management and use of the NAS accessible. This includes a visual interface with an app store, just like mobile applications. The servers are available now.
