Salesforce Data Cloud and other services are now available directly from the AWS Marketplace. Einstein Copilot can now also exchange prompts with AWS Bedrock.

Salesforce and AWS are expanding their relationships. Both companies announced this at their re:Invent conference. The partnership involves Salesforce offering some of its cloud products directly in the AWS cloud. This applies to Sales Cloud, Data Cloud and Service Cloud, but also Tableau and MuleSoft. It also makes it easier to share data between AWS and Salesforce applications.

Einstein Copilot is also involved in the collaboration. Salesforce launched Einstein Copilot in September as an AI that knows everything about your customers. The idea is that you give Einstein access to customer data through the associated studio. Einstein then consists of one Prompt Builder and a Skill Builders to teach the AI tool specific commands for company-specific data. The Trustworthy level ensures that Einstein colors within the lines.

The Trusted Layer now connects Einstein Copilot with AWS Bedrock. This is the platform on which AWS offers its customers access to LLM models of its own production or supported partners, including Anthropic. In Bedrock, LLMs can also be further trained using company data. The connection between Einstein Copilot and AWS allows prompts developed in Copilot Studio to be passed to models in Bedrock. This should speed up the training process.

Integrations between Salesforce and AWS will begin rolling out in early 2024.
