Microsoft will provide free cloud services to Ukrainian government agencies for another year.
This was reported by Ukrinform reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development of Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov sent a telegram.
“We are strengthening the partnership. The company has been helping Ukraine in the development of digital infrastructure since the establishment of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Microsoft is investing in the development of cloud services in Ukraine,” the message reads.
According to Fedorov, the company has already provided more than $540 million in free services, technical support, equipment and grants; This significantly helps government institutions in digitalization and data protection.
The message said, “Microsoft will expand cloud access for Ukraine again this year. Government institutions, regional authorities, schools, universities and hospitals will use clouds free of charge until the end of 2024.”
