The Israeli army reported this Wednesday that 10 Israelis and 4 Thais were released Islamist group Hamas and are transferred to Israeli territory on the sixth day of the agreement on the exchange of hostages for Palestinian prisoners in parallel with a temporary ceasefire.

“According to information received from the Red Cross, 10 Israelis and 4 Thai hostages are on their way to Israeli territory,” a military spokesman said.

For its part, the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed the release of 10 Israelis in exchange for 30 Palestinian prisoners by virtue of the truce concluded between the parties, which ends this Wednesday.

“Under the terms of the sixth day of the humanitarian pause agreement, 30 Palestinians will be released today in exchange for the release of ten hostages in the Gaza Strip,” ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari said on social media.

Palestinian prisoners released: 16 minors and 14 women.

In particular, the interlocutor noted that among Palestinian prisoners released: 16 minors and 14 women.

He added that the released Israelis included five minors and five women. At least five will have dual citizenship: a Dutch minor, three Germans and an American.

According to Qatar, Hamas released two Russians and four more Thais outside the agreement with Israel.

The Islamist group Hamas published this Wednesday two hostages of Russian nationality and four other Thais and handed them over to the Red Cross in an operation that goes beyond a ceasefire agreement with Israel under which the Palestinian movement is expected to release 10 more captives this Wednesday, Qatar announced.
