In the next few years, Apple may announce a number of completely new devices. And it’s not just about the VR/AR-helmet or the branded electric car.
For example, the US regulator FCC has approved a secret device of the company. It is known to run iOS 15.5 and has 32GB of non-volatile memory and, more interestingly, only 1.5GB of RAM.
Considering that even the cheapest Apple smartphone – the iPhonse SE 2022 – is equipped with 4 GB of RAM, it is unlikely that we will have any iPhone model at hand.
Also, in the application for registration with the FCC, the device is specified as a network adapter. It is also known for its two Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB Type-C, NFC antennas and Bluetooth Wi-Fi support.
According to experts, this could replace a new branded network hub or AirPort for Mac.
