For vans, Starlink will provide high-speed, low-latency Internet access in areas marked “Available” on the map. SpaceX explains that in “waitlisted” regions, users’ speeds will be significantly lower during peak hours.
SpaceX also states that Starlink is not designed for on-the-go use. The service is paid in monthly increments so customers can customize Starlink services for vans as needed.
The service covers most of the United States. Parts of the Midwest and South are on Starlink’s waiting list. For example, states like Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee still have almost no Starlink coverage for vans. In Canada, Starlink for vans is available in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador. SpaceX has provided services to various locations in South America, including Rio de Janeiro and surrounding areas in Brazil and parts of Chile.
SpaceX for camper vans is available in France, Germany, Spain and most of the UK in Europe. Scotland still has some parts on the waiting list. The service also fully covers Denmark, Romania, Italy and Lithuania. Ukraine is on the waiting list. Starlink for vans in Australia is available in South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. This service covers the entirety of New Zealand, with the exception of small areas of Auckland that are still on the waiting list.
Most Asian countries, including Japan, the Philippines and India, are still on Starlink’s trailer waiting list. Source
