ASUS is developing its next generation of gaming laptops and the ROG Zephyrus M16 has surfaced online with some impressive specs.

The unveiling of Intel’s Meteor Lake processors is just around the corner (December 14) and the major manufacturers are reacting accordingly. And what better than by introducing such interesting models as this Zephyrus M16, whose current version we analyzed in depth with a summary that said it all: ‘best in class’.

Initial information about Meteor Lake talked about the launch of the new Core Ultra 3/5/7 in December, keeping the top-of-the-line Core Ultra 9 for later. But it won’t take too long to arrive because of the information being processed by the master leakers.

The new ROG Zephyrus M16 (2024) will have some really impressive configurations, starting with a CPU Core Ultra 9 185Hwith a TDP of 45 watts. The graphics part will not be left behind, which can accommodate the most powerful card on the market, the Mobile RTX 4090 with 16 GB of VRAM.

The configuration would be complemented by 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB SSD for internal storage. The screen is familiar, 16 inches diagonal with native WQXGA resolution for 2560 x 1600 pixels. We take for granted the premium magnesium and aluminum chassis, excellent finish and all the connectivity expected from a laptop of this level.

The new ASUS Zephyrus will pre-install Windows 11 and will be available in the first third of 2024.
