AGON by AOC, the Taiwanese manufacturer’s monitor brand, has introduced two new models (CU34G2XE/BK and CU34G2XP/BK) committed to the format ultra wide which is increasingly attracting a larger number of users who appreciate a larger horizontal display space that allows working with more windows open, greater immersion in video games and a perfect experience when watching movies.
Like most models in the AGON by AOC catalog, the company focuses on the video game market. Both use a 10-bit panel with VA technology, curved with a ratio of 1500R, 34 inches diagonal and native WQHD resolution (3440×1440 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 21:9.

The specific part of PC gaming is covered by Adaptive-Sync compatibility of the CU34G2XE/BK model, while the other CU34G2XP/BK supports AMD FreeSync Premium synchronization technology. The result is a high refresh rate, 144Hz and 180Hz along with a GtG response time of 1 millisecond and support for DisplayHDR 400 high dynamic range mode.
AOC provides additional features such as G-Menu software for OSD control, enhancing the user experience. It also includes flicker-free technology and shadow control to provide an advantage in low-light gaming scenarios. There is Low Blue mode against harmful blue light and Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes displaying content from two sources at the same time.

They have a base that allows for height and tilt adjustment, as well as a VESA mount for increased flexibility in placement, on a table or when hanging on a wall. They have Display Port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs for connection from a PC. The new AGON by AOC will be available in December with corresponding prices 299 and 399 pounds.
