After a testing period with a limited group of users in November, the feature can be rolled out to all iOS users. Where we used to have to take detours or manually convert our files to PDF to ensure quality, this is now a thing of the past with WhatsApp since this development.
Do you want to get rid of the poor quality of your photos in WhatsApp? Soon it will be possible. In a few weeks, all iOS users should be able to benefit from this new function. You can easily do this in your chat message by clicking in the bottom left + Click, select document and select for photo or Video. This way, your photos and videos are sent as files without sacrificing quality. There is a 2GB limit on the files and no preview in the chat window.
WhatsApp has also been testing this feature for Android users since September. Therefore, the launch of this tool for Android will most likely happen in the near future.
