Pope Francis today called on Mexicans to work together to to help victims of Hurricane Otis, which severely affected Acapulco and Coica in October and include all people with disabilities when welcoming the delegation coming to Rome from the Teleton Foundation.

“Dear Mexicans, I have invited you to collaborate in defense of the victims of Acapulco and to include all people with disabilities in Mexico.“Let’s fight the trash society, let’s protect the dignity of every person.”Francisco invited a final greeting to the large audience, which was read out by his collaborator due to the bronchitis from which he suffers and which still prevents him from speaking much.
