Judge Texas ruled Thursday that a woman with a complicated and likely nonviable pregnancy can interruptAdvocates say it’s the first case of this magnitude since the U.S. Supreme Court allowed states to ban abortion last year.

Kate Cox, 31, of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, filed the lawsuit Tuesday seeking a temporary order barring Texas introduce an almost complete ban on abortion in her case, arguing that continuing the pregnancy endangered her health and future fertility.

Cox’s lawyer, Molly Duane of the Center for Reproductive Rights, told reporters by phone after the hearing that Guerra Gamble’s order allowed Cox to have an abortion. He declined to provide details about nearby planes. to this out of concern for their safety and the safety of their doctors.
