Author shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegashas been identified as Anthony Polito, a 67-year-old man who retired after a career as a university professor, several US media reported this Thursday.

Polito, who killed three university employees this Wednesday, applied for a professorship at the institution, but he didn’t get a placepolice sources detailed on networks such as ABC or CNN.
