North Korea plans to launch more intelligence satellites in the near future to gather information about its enemies’ military activities.
This was reported by Reuters, Ukrinform reported.
“If necessary, they (satellites) will do an excellent job of guiding and leading us into a super-strong attack,” North Korea said.
As stated, the new devices will be modeled after the Malligyong-1 satellite that Pyongyang launched in November.
Meanwhile, national security advisors of the United States, South Korea and Japan will hold a trilateral meeting in Seoul on Dec. 9 to discuss threats from North Korea and other global issues.
As reported by Ukrinform, North Korea announced on November 21 that it had successfully launched a spy satellite into Earth orbit.
North Korean officials later said that any possible interference with the intelligence satellite’s operations would be considered a “declaration of war.”
