“Last month, 4,316 battery-powered cars (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet. Compared to November last year, the demand for electric cars has almost tripled. However, compared to October 2023, the market shrank by 4 percent,” the message reads.
The majority of the electric vehicles registered this month were passenger cars with 4,239 units. (new – 827 units, used – 3412 units). Of the 77 commercial electric vehicles, only 10 were new.
Among the five new electric cars in November were Volkswagen ID.4 – 297 units, Toyota BZ4X – 64 units, BYD Song – 55 units, Honda eNS1 – 50 units, Volkswagen ID.6 – 48 units.
Ukrainian consumers preferred Nissan Leaf with 515 second-hand cars, Tesla Model 3 with 385 units, Volkswagen e-Golf with 355 units, and Tesla Model Y with 284 units. and Audi E-Tron – 201 units.
Since the beginning of 2023, 33,000 electric cars have been registered in Ukraine for the first time; This number is 2.8 times more than in the same period last year. Additionally, the share of new cars in BEV registrations increased from 17% to 20%.
As reported, in 2022, Ukrainians purchased 13,600 zero-emission cars; This is 1.5 times more than in 2021.
