The HP Elite t755 runs a specific version of Windows 10 and has numerous security features with a focus on enterprise environments.
HP has introduced a new thin client with special hardware for it, rather than the traditional laptop hardware in a small box. Inside is an AMD Ryzen V2546, a 6-core Zen 2 CPU (12 threads) with a TDP between 32 and 50 watts. This chip was developed by AMD specifically for embedded devices.
You can use the integrated GPU or optionally configure an AMD Radeon RX6300 (2 GB VRAM).
The HP Elite t755 supports up to 32GB of RAM (DDR4 3200) via SODIMM slots. The internal storage is divided into two M.2 slots, which together can offer up to 768 GB of storage space. Other specs include WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for up to six 4K video streams at 60 fps.
Additional ports on the front of the device: 1x USB-C (USB Gen 3.2), 2x USB-A (USB 3.1), 1x audio jack. On the back there is space for 4x DisplayPort (v1.2), 4x USB-A (USB 2.0) and 1x RJ45 Ethernet.
The thin client comes with a custom version of Windows 10 for IoT devices. The small box measures 50 x 210 x 210 mm.
The HP Elite t755 thin client will be available in the Benelux countries from February. The basic model is available from 599 euros without VAT.
