In Ternopil, on the basis of the National University of Western Ukraine, Ukraine’s first multifunctional center with augmented reality technologies was opened, which will allow the implementation of projects in various fields and mastering professions.

According to Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation for European Integration, the center will conduct educational lessons, scientific experiments and educational and scientific activities in virtual classrooms using innovative and technological methods.
One of the partners of the project is UNDP, and the center’s modern technological equipment was provided by Cisco. As Serhii Martynchuk, head of Cisco’s representative office in Ukraine, noted, the company provides modern tools for digital training and medical and psychological rehabilitation. He added that Ukraine is one of the first countries in the world where Webex Hologram technology will be tested for rehabilitation using virtual reality holographic images.
The opening of the center is part of the National Strategy to create a barrier-free space by 2030, initiated by Olena Zelenska.
According to Ukrinform, the European Investment Bank opened a regional center in Kiev within the scope of the EU’s Ukraine Fund project.
