American company Apple will introduce a new security mode for iPhone that will make it harder for attackers to use the password.

CNBC reports this, according to Ukrinform.

The Stolen Device Protection feature creates a second layer of security that makes it harder for attackers to use passwords when the user’s phone is away from home or work.

It is stated that if an iPhone is in a location not normally associated with its owner and the Stolen Device Protection feature is turned on, the device will require FaceID in addition to entering a password for users to perform confidential operations such as viewing saved passwords. . .

Additionally, the attacker will not be able to change the password on the user’s Apple ID or remove FaceID without a mandatory one-hour pause. You will then need to go through verification again via facial recognition.

This feature is currently available in the beta version of the new iOS 17.3 software. However, other iPhone users are expected to access this feature in the coming weeks.

According to Ukrinform, Apple Music subscribers will no longer be able to subscribe to the Voice Plan tariff plan, and the automatic renewal function for those who are already subscribed will be turned off at the end of the billing period.
