Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A25 5G in Spain. At the time of Christmas shopping, it is about strengthening the mobile offer for the middle class, the most demanding and the most competitive.

Samsung has some of the most impressive models on the smartphone market, the foldable Fold and Flip and the high-end covered S23. But don’t forget that there are other types of users who don’t need and can’t spend that much on a mobile phone. And that’s where the “A” series comes in, which Samsung just refreshed.

Galaxy A25 5G: balance

It’s one of those mid-range phones that will sell in the millions. Its main features are exactly what we expected and are based on the multi-touch screen Super AMOLED type Infinity-U, p 6.5 inch diagonalnative FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness will be increased to 1000 nits to facilitate outdoor use.

Its SoC engine is a Exynos 1280 Designed by Samsung and manufactured with 5nm processes. It is an ARM with eight cores (2 Cortex-A78 running up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 for less demanding tasks) and a Mali-G68 GPU. It’s not the fastest on the market, but it’s adequate and inclusive for a mobile level support for 5G networks (NR Sub-6GHz and NR mmWave), as well as LTE Cat.18, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Configuration is part of the camera system triple sensor on the back with a 50-megapixel main and optical image stabilization (OIS), secondary 8MP wide-angle and 2MP macro. The front selfie camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, and the entire lineup will use other AI features.

The battery has capacity 5000 mAh and supports 25-watt fast charging, while its dimensions are contained in 161.0 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm, with a weight of 197 grams. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The terminal will be one of the models that is updated with OneUI 6 and Android 14.

The Galaxy A25 5G is now available in Spain in 3 colors (black, yellow and blue) and in two versions depending on memory and storage:

• 6 GB RAM + 128 GB for 299 euros.
• 8 GB RAM + 256 GB for 369 euros.

Galaxy A05s

Samsung also announced the launch of another model of the A series, in this case the base series, in Spain with a 6.8-inch display, Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging, and which is committed to the price to convince users, as 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage comes at a price 159 euros.

Both terminals will be available on the Samsung portal and at major retailers.
