Smartphones are available in different price ranges. Is an inexpensive device enough for you or do you just want the best of the best? ITdaily investigates how much IT professionals want to spend on a new smartphone.
There are many things to consider when buying a new smartphone. Some people want a battery that lasts a long time, others want good cameras or are loyal to a certain brand. One factor that will ultimately be the deciding factor for many is the price of the device. You may want the very best specs, but if your budget doesn’t allow you to spend a thousand dollars or more on a smartphone, you’ll have to look into a cheaper range.
A previous survey of our readers found that the majority of IT professionals receive a smartphone from their employer, with or without a choice of device. Only 42 percent bought their smartphone themselves. The ITdaily editorial team therefore wants to find out the maximum amount IT professionals are willing to spend on a new smartphone.
