Kyivstar’s CPO Mykhailo Nestor published a post on his social networks. He assured that the company’s experts and partners are doing everything possible to restore the Kyivstar network after the hacker attack.

What is the current status of Kyivstar?

Nestor reported that the company began resuming voice communications throughout Ukraine from 18:00. According to him, services will gradually return to normal.

A representative of Kyivstar warned that short-term difficulties may occur until the end of December 13. In case of problems, he advised users to reboot their smartphones and disable VoLTE service from the settings of these devices.

As for the SMS sending feature, Kyivstar hopes to bring this functionality back within one day. The same applies to data transfer.

We are currently working to restore data and SMS and hope to be available within the day. We promise that after the complete repair of the network, we will prepare compensation for all our subscribers and corporate customers who cannot benefit from the company’s services,
– wrote Nestor.

He thanked users for their support and understanding.

It is possible to see a similar call on Kyivstar’s official page on social networks. The company has promised to officially prepare compensation for all its subscribers and corporate customers who cannot use the services of the mobile operator and internet provider these days due to the hacker attack.
