The company has yet to make an official statement that the network has finally been restored. At the same time, subscribers in the network report that “Kyivstar” has come to life.

Kyivstar continues its work

Last night, Kyivstar was informed that access to mobile internet would be gradually restored. Ivano-Frankivsk region took first place. The company also reported what could be restored as of December 14:

  • More than 90% of mobile communications base stations in the Ukrainian-controlled territory are operational;
  • subscribers can use voice calls;
  • The “Home Internet” service is activated;
  • Started restoring mobile data services.

Accident at Kyivstar: the real issue

The mobile operator was subjected to a powerful hacker attack on December 12. Kyivstar subscribers reported difficulties in communication: they could not make calls, and they also had no access to the Internet, the “league” and home Internet. SBU launched an investigation.

On December 13, Russian group Solntsepok claimed responsibility for the cyberattack.
