So if it doesn’t finally exist, the RTX 4090 SUPER will mark the ceiling of the current generation.

In this way, the first quarter of 2024 is supposed to be the moment in which, apart from subsequent movements, the two extremes of this generation will be defined, with the RTX 4090 SUPER (if TI is finally not there) at the bottom. and the long-awaited GeForce RTX 4050, which will finally bring DLSS 3 within reach of all budgets.

This progress, to be placed at CES 2024, nevertheless points to three specific models, the SUPER version 4070, 4070 TI and 4080, at the moment without news (in this leak I mean) other models. As I say, we’re hoping to have news on the 4070 and 4080 in a couple of weeks, but there was a surprise today when some media reported on accidental leak of GeForce RTX 4090 SUPER from German seller. The seller in question is the German chain Proshop, and at the time of publishing the supposed models of this as-yet-unreleased GPU are still showing up in web searches, as you can see at this link.

So the first suspicion was that these graphics cards were published by mistake when registering on the site for subsequent publication. Despite the initial confusion over what appeared to be a huge error on Proshop’s part, it actually appears to be a different kind of error that doesn’t really tell us anything. And that’s the fault The term “SUPER” was mistakenly added to several RTX 4090 modelswhich we can confirm by checking the results of the said search, because as you can see, both the images and the specifications of the models listed as SUPER are actually those of the RTX 4090 models to which the word magical has been added .
