The company is testing the rocket ahead of the third launch at the Starbase facility in Texas.
As Ukrinform reported, on Saturday, November 18, the American company SpaceX carried out the second test launch of the Starship rocket system created for missions to the Moon and Mars. However, an explosion occurred after the first stage of the rocket system (Super Heavy) separated from the second stage, the spacecraft (Ship 25).
About 10 minutes after launch, the company announced that contact with Ship 25 had been lost during its flight and that it assumed the ship was malfunctioning.
