If you are a Windows 11 user, you may have noticed strange behavior in the operating system. I’ve only had this version for over a year bug this can randomly overlay File Explorer over any open window.

The issue appeared just after the release of Windows 11 22H2 in October 2022. Many users have shared their experiences through the system’s Feedback Center. For example, one of them pointed out that Explorer came to the fore in the middle of a Zoom meeting.

Other users also reported that File Explorer crashed on them for no apparent reason. in the middle of a presentation ray. The truth is that this type of problem raises questions about what is actually causing the problems: Windows or an application?

As you can probably guess, this scenario has led many people to think that their computers have been infected with some kind of malware. Given the uncertainty, some affected people note that it did not take them long to analyze Windows with their antivirus to find the source of the problem.

They addressed the situation at Microsoft and discovered that it was an operating system glitch, so they started working on a solution, by the way, didn’t come right away. After finding the issue, Redmond released the solution for development releases in March 2023.

As we know, some features and fixes are included primarily in versions of Windows used by Windows Insider Program members and are later rolled out to all users if they really work. This is getting closer to happening.

Drivers usually appear in the optional updates section, but non-security updates in preview are also usually distributed in the following month’s Patch Tuesday, so we will have to wait until January to find the solution.
