BMW has a special connection with South Africa as it was the first country outside Germany to have a BMW factory 50 years ago. That’s why the German automaker will create one of the rarest special versions of the car exclusively for South Africa.
The BMW Alpina B3 50 Year BMW South Africa Edition will only be available to residents of South Africa, and the company plans to produce just five examples of the type.
Each will be in the signature green color (Alpina Green II Metallic).
It is said that the car will have a twin-turbocharged S58 engine with 495 horsepower and 538 Nm of torque.
The sedan can accelerate from zero to 96 km per hour in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 306 km per hour.

The BMW Alpina B3 50 Year BMW South African Edition is priced at approximately 3 million South African Rand or $164,311.
