As the canonical event of every generation, We await the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S2 family4 and the “flagships” of the Korean multinational company have been one of the main references in the high-end market segment for years, which is a truly commendable position, considering how tough the competition is in that sand. Even many people who prefer a different model in this space pay attention to what Samsung comes up with every year.
And so, and as is common in this sector of ours, the first rumors and leaks start appearing months before its official announcement and launch. It’s something especially common with every generation of iPhone, probably the device most affected by this type of leak, but it affects other manufacturers as well. In case you have a Samsung Galaxy S24, you can check it here We started seeing the first reports about him months agowith the first beginning of March.
Now it’s less common for virtually all technical specifications to be leaked, which just happened. And popular leaker Evan Blass Publishedon your twitter account, the main technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 family, as well as the date of its introduction. And from what has been released, everything points to it being internal documentation that somehow got their hands on it.

Well, we already know that The Samsung Galaxy S24 will be unveiled on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. (Peninsular Spanish Time). So we can assume that the announcement of Samsung Unpacked 2024 is coming, as we are only four weeks away from the date chosen for the announcement. And everything points to its arrival on the market between the end of next month and the beginning of February, as we have already seen on other occasions.
Regarding its specifications, it confirms what we’ve been expecting for a long time, and that’s it all models will be based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and that there are no major changes to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, apart from adopting titanium in Apple’s footsteps, while the other two models will continue to have aluminum chassis. In the image below you can see a summary of the specifications of the three models:
Although their screens are of different sizes (6.8, 6.7 and 6.2 inches), in all cases Samsung opted for a Dynamic AMOLED X2 panel with a QHD+ resolution that can deliver impressive brightness up to 2,600 nits. The Ultra and S24+ share specs when it comes to memory, with 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 or 512 gigabytes of storagewhile the Samsung Galaxy S24 equips 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 gigabytes of storage. Yes, at this point I have to say that I expected the storage options in the Ultra to expand to a terabyte, but in the end it seems that this is another of the jumps that are reserved for the S25, which is the one that Samsung would intend again use their own integrated, instead of Qualcomm.
The main camera will again be the differentiating factor between the Ultra model and its siblings, p main sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels and a telephoto lens capable of providing 10x magnification. There isn’t much difference between the S24 Ultra and S24+ batteries, so 5,000 and 4,900 milliampswhile the Samsung Galaxy S24 has to “make do” with 4000 milliamps. And the common feature is that they all share an IP68 certification against dust and liquids.
We can expect more leaks in the coming weeks before the official unveiling, and certainly the most sought-after target of leaks (as well as many people waiting for the next generation S) is currently the prices at which they reach the market, so it will be strange that there will be some rumors in this regard before long. However, and as always happens in these cases, they will need to be taken with some caution, more or less depending on who is the leaker who starts spreading said information.
