Management stated that the automaker released an over-the-air software update (OTA) for its vehicles to resolve the issue.
The recall affects 2021-2023 Model i Model X vehicles. These company models do not meet certain federal safety standards for side impact protection.
As reported by Ukrinform, on December 13, it became known that Tesla recalled more than two million vehicles after NHTSA detected a partial malfunction in their autonomous driving system (autopilot).
In early February, Elon Musk’s company voluntarily recalled 362,758 electric vehicles and warned that its experimental driver assistance software, marketed as Full Self-Driving Beta (FSD Beta), could cause crashes.
