OpenAI, which developed the ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot, is meeting with investors to raise a new round of funding worth $100 billion or more.

According to the interlocutors, investors who will potentially be involved in the new fundraising round have been included in preliminary discussions.
Details such as the terms, valuation and timing of the financing round have not yet been determined and are subject to change, the sources added.
If this funding round goes ahead as planned, OpenAI will become the second most valuable startup in the U.S., behind Space Exploration Technologies Corp., according to CBInsights. Elon Musk.

It was previously learned that the company would complete a separate tender offer in early January that would allow employees to sell their shares worth US$ 86 billion.
