At the same time, the car is more expensive than Tesla’s Model S, which starts at 698,900 yuan in China. Instead, the company believes the sedan will compete with Porsche AG’s Panamera series and Mercedes-Benz Group AG’s luxury S series.
It is stated that ET9 will be equipped with a five-nanometer automotive chip and large cylindrical battery cells from Nio.
The vehicle will also be compatible with the 900 Volt super fast charging platform, which can increase the range by 255 kilometers in 5 minutes.
