There are only a few days left until the start of CES 2024and the ASUS ROG Tessen seems to be one of the surprises ASUS has in store for the event, one of the most important of the year in the technology sector. We have known for a few days that the two protagonists of what the technology company has prepared for this event are, among others, the impressive Zephyrus G14 and the promising ASUS ROG Phone 8, well, we can expect a lot, and very good, from their proposal for the fair in Las Vegas.

Until its launch, we won’t have exact knowledge of the entire catalog of announcements, but as it happens in these cases, we have not only official previews, but also some leaks that are very interesting. And such is the case of the one published by WindowsReport, which moves notifications by ASUS ROG Tessen, a smartphone controller that would arrive alongside the ROG Phone 8. The new move is meant to strengthen its growing position in the mobile gaming ecosystem, which includes both ROG smartphones and one of the most important introductions of the year, the ROG Ally portable console.

In this publication, in addition to information about the controller, we also find some images of it, which without a doubt indicate it as a really promising option, since it is supposed to be a relatively robust device and The option to fold it in half makes it much more convenient to carry with you. when we are not using it. Of course, the key will be whether its width is expandable (everything indicates that it is), because this will confirm something that we can take for granted, but not confirmed, that it will be compatible with other smartphones, outside the framework of the ROG Phone of the house.

In the pictures we see the ASUS ROG Tessen two sticks, a crosshair, eight buttons, two triggers and two other controls on themso we will have the same elements that we find in the standard gamepad, and although we could not see it at the moment, knowing the precedents of the brand, we can expect configuration and customization software that will allow us to adapt its behavior to our specific preferences..
